The concept, called Queen of Code, saw over 50 gamers create projects on the crowdfunding platform with the five most successful campaigns match funded to the tune of £3,000 by Creative England, the non-profit organisation dedicated to investing in the growth of the creative industries.
We were approached to create the branding for the piece, using a fresh and youthful graphical approach to establish an instantly recognisable identity for the campaign and its target audience.
It enabled Crowdfunder.co.uk to showcase the new ideas, inviting ‘the crowd’ to validate some of the brightest stars of the industry with financial backing of almost £50,000.
“It’s fantastic to see these women on the path to making their ideas a reality while setting an example for diversity in the games industry,” said Caroline Norbury, CEO at Creative England.
“We look forward to the next opportunity to join forces and offer something unique to England’s creative industries,” she added.
